Your private 5-hour tour begins with a pick-up from Belize City port or hotel, followed by a scenic 45-60 minute drive north into the jungle. Upon arrival at Altun Ha, your expert guide will lead you through the partially-restored site, providing detailed information about each structure's purpose and its connections to other influential Mayan sites, including the mighty Teotihuacan in Mexico. What should I bring with me on the tour?

As the Altun Ha Belize Mayan ruins are located in a jungle landscape, you may encounter more than your fair share of mosquitoes, so we recommend bringing strong insect repellent with you. Also, sunscreen and a hat will be useful to protect you from the sun. This Mayan site is very photogenic, so a camera is also recommended.
